According to newsportal TODAYonline, the former prime minister of Malaysia Najib Razak has now been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers at his home at around 3pm, today.

He's expected to be charged on Wedsnesday but apparently, Police Chief Mohd. Fuzi Harun said that he'd go through questioning before any actions will be taken over the 1Malaysian Development Bhd (1MDB) probe.

As quoted from TODAYonline, he said, “We have yet to obtain his statement for our investigations and we cannot exempt him from that process.

“We would be unable to complete our investigation papers if we do not do so.”
